Moody and Farrell is one of British millinery’s more unsung heros; designer Eloise Moody’s hats for men and women are so chic and subtle they often outdo the frothier confections that spawn from the houses of Treacy or Jones: these are classic headturners with serious edge (some recently featured in Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’; the BBC is also a regular client). The label holds its first trunk show, open to all, this Saturday (1-5pm) at fashion boutique Wolf & Badger in Notting Hill. Gin and tonics will be served and there’s 10% off all hats (including bespoke orders) on the day.
